REC Donations

Local Meat Raffle

The proceeds from the foundations latest local meat raffle went to Hudson Food Cupboard. This organization is a favorite of the REC Foundations, especially during the holiday season:
“During this very critical time of year, families in the Hudson area experience the highest levels of food insecurity. Your gift will supply food and basic needs for individuals, families, and seniors during the month of December. 100% of your donation will be used to restock our shelves at the food cupboard so that we can meet the needs of our visitors. Thank you for including us in your charitable giving”

Honoring Our Supporters

Honoring Kristine Peterson, a long time donor to the Rosendo and Charlotte Elizondo Charitable Foundation. Her support to this foundation has helped so many and is so appreciated.  We thank her for all she has done to help make this Foundation a success.

Granny’s Closet

In 2019 we launched the REC Pilot Program with a donation to Granny's Closet. This program was put together by Leslie Peterson, an active member of the REC Foundation who wanted to extend our opportunities to give back. The first Pilot Program was a huge success collecting close to 300 items including 12 cans of sanitizing wipes, 70 rolls of toilet paper, 12 toothbrushes, 7 tubes of toothpaste, 30 bars of soap, 18 bottles of body wash, 40 bottles of shampoo and conditioner, 27 sticks of deodorant, 26 cans of cat food, and many other miscellaneous personal care items. If you would like to start a Pilot Program download and fill out the form below!

Local Outreach.

The REC Foundation strives to have a big impact on peoples lives. In this case, the foundation chose to impact the family of 5 year old Delaney, who was diagnosed with an aggressive incurable brain tumor. Delaney’s parents took leave from work upon hearing of her diagnosis so the REC Foundation stepped in to give some financial help. Beautiful Delaney did pass in 2023 but the foundation hopes our contribution helped make this very difficult time easier.
